This painting is the result of some experimentations; Leftover gold paint from another painting spread with a palette knife, some other metallic colors for the shadings, a splash of black holes here and there, and a little mouse peaking out to finish up. The result is a mouth-watering piece of cheese with a sneaky, furry friend!
When I first started this painting, I had no idea of what I wanted it to become. As I layered, it slowly took form by itself… it started to remind of a piece of cheese and I decided to continue on this path.
It was a very fun process, and I love how it turned out – what I like the most about it is how at first looks it’s just a yellow abstract paintings but, as you look closer, it reveals a fun twist.
