My physical artworks are all shipped directly from me, from Canada. Shipping costs are at your/the client’s expenses, unless otherwise stated. Shipping fees are calculated at the moment of purchase based on your specific address.
Mini artworks:
Mini artworks are usually small enough to fit in your hand, such as a Mini Lucky Gnome. This type of artworks, due to their weight, requires less protection and might be shipped in envelopes. They’re first wrapped in archival glassine paper, to create a barrier for your precious purchase, before being packaged with or without bubble wrap in a size-appropriate envelope. If shipped in a box, it will be padded with bubble wrap and/or packing paper. Keep in mind that certain sizes of envelopes cannot be tracked – if you want your mini artwork to be tracked, please specify it at the moment of purchasing.
Small to large artworks:
Small to large artworks usually includes anything from 4 inches to the maximum size accepted by standard shipping services. They’re first wrapped in archival glassine paper, to create a barrier for your precious purchase, before being wrapped in bubble wrap then secured with packing paper and/or bubble pillows in a size-appropriate cardboard box. Boxes are made from recycled carboard, and will be custom-resized to best fit the artwork if need is.
Very large artworks:
For any artwork exceeding the maximum size and/or weight accepted by standard shipping companies, I will need to prepare a custom plan with a shipper. This type or artworks will be wrapped in archival glassine paper, to create a barrier for your precious purchase, before being packed in a size-appropriate, heavy duty and/or double walled box with the necessary cushioning. Cushioning might include bubble wrap, packing paper, bubble pillows, foam, styrofoam, and more.
Tracking:
Unless specified otherwise, all packages are tracked. You will be given a tracking number once the parcel is out, and I will be monitoring the shipping process until the package arrived at its destination. In the event of something unexpected happens once the package is in the shipping company’s hands, I will do my best to fix the situation, and keep you informed if the need is.
Liability:
I am not responsible for delays due to meteoritical events, natural catastrophes, holidays, or any other events out of my jurisdiction. This includes strikes, labor disruptions, family emergencies, compromised accounts and out of service external websites. I am not responsible for lost packages unless it’s the result of my mistake for example if I entered the wrong address on the label. I keep a copy of shipping receipts, so feel free to ask to double check with me what address was written on the box. I also take a photo of the label on the box before sending the package for future references.
I am not not responsible for damaged boxes. But if the artwork inside arrives damaged, please contact me as soon as possible and send me photos, I will do my best to fix the situation. You might be illegible for a refund in such cases.
Although I will act as fast as possible in the event that something is wrong, I cannot guarantee immediate resolution. Standard business hours applies.
Returns and exchanged:
Due to the nature of the purchase, I cannot offer returns or exchanges. Did your artwork arrived damaged? Please read Liability, you might be eligible for a refund.
Surprises:
Free extras are included with all physical artworks! Keep an eye open for frog stickers, notes, business cards and other surprises hiding in your parcel. Certificate of authenticity are also included with most artworks.
