Octavia is an adventurous octopus that loves to explore caves and collect little treasures. Her eyes grow big with curiosity for everything that sparkles.
I use to always separate my linework and color layers to get the cleanest lines possible, but I have been drawn to more sketchy styles for a long time without founding the right way to incorporate it into my works. I find that letting the lines touch and dance with the colors adds a certain lively quality. Makes it more intriguing to look at. I made this piece as a practice to loosen my style and experiment with different techniques.
